Mediland provides electronic transcription services to the healthcare industry using very well designed in-house developed software, taking into consideration HIPAA. We have developed long term client relationships using our technology and professional expertise in making the process cost effective. Our business is steadily growing mainly covering major cities of United States of America. We provide MT services to about 400 physicians, covering all specialties.

Our transcriptionists must have formal transcription training and/or two years of experience. We recognize that quality transcription is best provided by trained professionals.

Dictations through two-different methods    
 
We provide two options for doctors to Dictate-send dictations:
  1. Dictating through Dictaphone
  2. Dictating through our toll-free number
 
(1) Procedures for Dictaphone
We provide free Dictaphones to all our clients. The dictaphone can record up to eight hours (high quality) of dictation. The variance in time depends upon one's usability and preference. It is a very simple mechanism similar to the handheld cassette recorders that we normally use.
Once the dictations are completed, just hook to your computer with the given lead, it will automatically download the dictations from the dictaphone to your computer and uploads to our secure FTP.
(2) Procedures for Toll-Free Number 1-800 Dictations
If you opt for the phone – procedure, we provide you with a four digit PIN number for security purposes and with this we also provide you with our toll-free number, keypad step by step instructions and user ID for accessing our server. Our server is accessible using any touch-tone telephone 365 days round the clock. Some of the added features for using this method are…
  1. There is no need for a telephone-to-computer interface.
  2. Elimination of the possibility of recording on dead batteries.
  3. Elimination of recording on worn-out or bad tape/media.
  4. Time taken for the actual transfer of your voice files to our system is almost instantly.
